The Technical Craft
Screen acting is as much a technical craft as a creative one. The Advanced Series is designed to start to give the awareness and knowledge you need to be aware of to work as a screen actor. Beyond the performance demands of screen acting, a screen actor needs to have an awareness of the technical aspect of performance, from hitting marks and working within the frame to nailing your eyelines. Taught by industry-leading film and television director The Advanced Series courses will give you the technical tools you need to be able to follow direction on set.
Once you’ve completed the advanced course your journey is just beginning. Move on to the part-time Screenwise Showreel Course and kick-start your career with professionally shot showreel scenes and an introduction to navigating the business side of the industry. Or immerse yourself in the two-year full-time Advanced Diploma of Screen Acting to set yourself up with everything you need to begin a successful career as a screen actor.
