About the Showreel Course
The Showreel Course is a One-Year Part-Time program that offers a toolkit for professional screen acting training unlike any other. Students undergo a year of intensive training with our award-winning tutors in preparation for their professionally shot and edited showreel.
The key distinction between the Showreel Course and simply paying a business to record a showreel for you, is that Screenwise Showreel graduates are equipped with the skills that showcase their calibre and versatility as an actor during auditions and screen tests. This includes the necessary business training required for graduates to effectively present their skills to the industry and build important relationships with key Film and Television stakeholders.
Showreel Course students have scored roles in Film and Television programs including UnReal, The Vampire Diaries, Underbelly, Crownies, Packed To The Rafters alongside countless TV Commercials. If you are not yet represented by an agent and if you fit the casting brief, you can also be submitted for professional TVCs and small speaking roles whilst currently studying at Screenwise. We believe that networking and industry experience while studying is beneficial to raising student profiles.
