On Thursday 20th of February 2025, Channel 7’s morning show ‘Sunrise’ visited our studio to catch some of our students in action.

A bright and early call time of 4am and our students greeted interviewer Sam Mack and the Sunrise Viewers to show around the Screenwise Studios and share some of what they had been completing during their two year Advanced Diploma of Screen Acting program.

Screenwise Director Denise Roberts explains how our “stars of the future” are currently undertaking a mix of training focuses, including combat, accents, movement, characterisation and the Stanisvalski Method.

Advanced Diploma student Liam Carr was also featured, discussing his appearance in the Popular series “Heartbreak High” on Netflix, “‘Screenwise’ has pushed me beyond my wildest dreams – I had never really understood what I was capable of.”

Screenwise 2018 Graduate Eduard Geyl discussed wrapping on mini series ‘The Narrow Road to the Deep North’ alongside Jacob Elordi. He discussed how ‘working hard and listening to Denise’ helped get him to where he is today.

Sunrise visited Screenwise to celebrate the amazing achievement of twenty five years of being Australia’s leading film and TV school for actors with the only Government Accredited Advanced Diploma in Australia.
