Did you know Adam Demos was a Showreel Course Graduate?

May 7, 2020 | News

Adam Demos’ is in the best of places right now having appeared on UnReal and more recently in a lead role for the Netflix rom-com Falling Inn Love opposite American singer and actress Christina Milian. Adam is now set to star in Sex/Life released later this year on Netflix.

However, it wasn’t until he was 23 that Adam was willing to give up his job in Wollongong’s steelworks and pursue acting professionally at Screenwise. After graduating from the Showreel Course in 2009, Adam’s career took off with roles in Australian productions such as Winners & Losers and Janet King.

His big break came in the form of hit US drama UnREAL. Adam plays surfer fresh August Walker who was introduced in the show’s third and fourth season. Since then his career has been on a rapid rise.

With new roles and opportunities lining up for Adam, the future is certainly looking bright.

“Coming from a construction background in Wollongong I had zero idea about the acting industry and how to even get started, I just knew I wanted to give it a go. Screenwise was my first ever experience in acting and gave me the spark and passion for acting that continues to grow today. The calibre of teachers and classes are awesome and having someone like Denise who believed in me and backed me from the beginning is something I’ll never forget!! Thanks for it all you legends!”
