Screenwise Showreel Course alumni are continuing to gain momentum and recognition in the Film and TV industry.
As the leading Screen Acting school in Australia, the track record of producing successful graduates continues to grow. Many Screenwise Film and TV Acting School alumni are achieving great success in the Australian Film & TV industry, Hollywood and worldwide.
Adam Demos, graduating Screenwise in 2009, has gained global popularity with his best known appearance as Brad in the Netflix TV Series Sex/Life. Season 2 of Sex/Life reached number 2 as the top watched TV Series on Netflix, watched for 43 million hours during the week of February 27th – March 5th and continues to sit comfortably in the Netflix Top 10 mist watched TV series globally. Demos has appeared in various Australian TV shows, such as Janet King and Winners & Losers, and gained recognition for his role as August Walker in the Netflix series UnREAL. He has also starred in other Netflix productions, including Falling Inn Love.
Stef Dawson, graduating in 2005, has achieved notable success in the entertainment industry, including her acclaimed role as ‘Annie Cresta’ in The Hunger Games series. She has also starred in various independent films, such as ‘The Paper Store’ opposite Penn Badgley, earning her the Best Actress award at the Oxford International Film Festival.
Nathaniel Buzolic, graduating in 2005, famous for his breakthrough role as Kol Mikaelson in The Vampire Diaries and its spinoff, The Originals. He has also made appearances in other globally popular TV shows such as Supernatural and Pretty Little Liars and played Hal in the World War II depiction Hacksaw Ridge.
Sam Webb, graduated the Screenwise Showreel course in 2015, Sam is well known for his appearances on Australian Survivor as a contestant in 2016 as well as a hero in Australian Survivor: Heroes and Villans in 2023. Sam has also has roles on Australian TV Series Neighbours as well as acting credit for his work on Home and Away.
Sam is also the Co-Founder of the charity, Livin, which he and good friend Casey Lyons started in 2013 after losing their good friend to suicide. Sam, in addition to being an accomplished speaker and mental health advocate, is also the co-author of the book “Transformation: Turning Tragedy into Triumph”. He is also the host of the popular podcast “It Ain’t Weak To Speak”, where he interviews guests from around the globe on ways to improve one’s life.
