David Berry

David Berry is an internationally acclaimed actor whose work spans across the mediums of television, film, and theatre. He is best known for his standout on going role as Lord John Grey in the global show Outlander (Starz) and as James Bligh in award winning series A Place to Call Home (Seven Network). His credits also include amongst many,  Home and Away (Seven Network) and Riptide (Network 10).

David received a scholarship to study political science at Montreal’s McGill University, where he earned a B.A. in Political Sciences and Cultural Studies. Returning to Australia, he began his master’s in media practice at the University of Sydney, while also working as a researcher in the newsroom for Channel Seven. Shortly after, he decided to move on from a career in media and return to his true passion, the performing arts and completed his study at NIDA.
