With a career spanning over 40 years, Philip Holder has worked continuously as an actor, tutor, coach, and writer.
In the Australian theatre, he has worked extensively with the Melbourne Theatre Company, the South Australian State Theatre Company, the Sydney Theatre Company, and the Ensemble Theatre.
His television, film and radio career includes roles in over twenty feature films, numerous roles within television, and hundreds of hours of radio.
His film credits include Under the Lighthouse Dancing, Kick, Came a Hot Friday, Scarecrow and Backstage.
Television credits include All Saints, Water Rats, Simone de Beauvoir’s Babies, Halifax FP and Sun on the Stubble. Theatre credits include Macbeth, Waiting for Godot, Death of a Salesman, Duet for One, Private Lives, School for Scandal, and Othello.
Amongst his many musical credits are High Society, Man of La Mancha, The King and I, Oliver, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and Jesus Christ Superstar. He has also appeared in countless TV Commercials.
