Patrick Phillips

Patrick Phillips is a tutor at Screenwise who is an actor, singer and NIDA graduate. His film and TV credits include: All Saints, In Your Dreams, The Restless Years, Cop Shop, A Country Practice, Richmond Hill, Rafferty’s Rules, Bellamy, A Hard God (ABC TV) and The Cowra Breakout. His radio drama credits include: The Removalists and Summer Of The Aliens for ABC.

His theatre credits include leading roles in Shorts at The Wharf (STC), The Father We Loved, Us or Them (Griffin), The Fantasticks (Top Theatre, Los Angeles), The Hostage (Q Theatre), On Our Selection (New Moon), Baby & Snoopy The Musical (both QTC), After Dinner (Theatre South), Twelfth Night (Malvolio) in The Chinese Garden, Darling Harbour.

He is a member of The Actors Forum and has appeared in Same Time Next Year, Same Time Another Year, Barefoot In The Park, Mrs Warren’s Profession, The Cocktail Hour, Daylight Saving, Soulmates, Money & Friends and most recently David Williamson’s Sanctuary. He wrote, produced and performed in Mostly Sondheim (Tilbury), Showstopper, Two’s Company (both at The Opera House) and On Broadway, which he toured to the USA.

He was invited to sing by Barbara Cook as a guest artist in The Barbara Cook Masterclass (Melbourne Concert Hall) and subsequently trained with her privately in New York. Patrick starred in An Evening of Sondheim in the Melbourne Concert Hall with the Victorian State Orchestra (65 piece). He also featured in A Tribute to Andrew Lloyd-Webber at Jupiter’s Casino and Sheraton Mirage.

Patrick is currently in the USA. He recently played in a sell-out run of the hit comedy, ‘THE FOREIGNER’, in Seattle. He has done voice over and on-camera work for The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Microsoft. He regularly plays in nationally syndicated radio dramas – and has just recorded ‘LILIOM’, in LA, playing alongside Charles Shaughnessy, Samantha Eggar and other celebrated veterans of screen, stage and radio.
