Cinzia Coassin

Cinzia Coassin started her career as a theatre/film and television actor. Challenging herself to develop ideas has led her to expand in all areas of the entertainment Industry.

Nurturing cultural identity in family relationships on a universal scale has always been extremely present in her project choice previously leading her to work in association with Carnivale – here she produced a short film festival – Ten to One – giving platform to writers/producers/directors to showcase their stories/films.

Cinzia later found herself being nurtured in the Industry; by landing herself the role of Faith Martin’s Casting Assistant this allowed her to explore the film and television industry from another perspective, assisting on The Strip and Blood Brothers for the 9 Network, Spartacus, Legend of the Seeker, and K9 (children series), 33 POSTCARDS, THE KING IS DEAD, SATELLITE BOY and 4 seasons of ABC US pilot season. As a seasoned Casting Associate and industry professional Cinzia then went on to guest star and thrive at Christine King Casting, here she was involved in the Casting process for THE MOON AND THE SUN, THE DRESSMAKER, Camp for the NBC Network, along with CBS pilot season 2014, The Code and Hiding for the ABC Network. Also involved with the Australian search for the hit HBO series Game of Thrones, Hercules, The Shannara Chronicles,The Badlands and BIG VALLEY -The BFG.

At present Cinzia is involved with some very exciting projects in early development, she is creative producer and collaborator on HOLY MOSELLE a feature film written by Michelle Coassin. Also developing an original television series – 56. Cinzia is currently Casting Director on UNSOUND, an Australian Feature Film supporting Disability and Diversity, shooting in Sydney 2019. Cinzia is Casting Director on the Sci-Fi Feature Film – OCCUPATION – (sequel) which shoots in QLD/NSW in 2018. DARKMAN another Australian Feature she has recently been attached to. Cinzia’s US searches thus far include Disney’s A WRINKLE IN TIME and UGLY a true story based on Super Model Stacey Mckenzie’s life story.
