We’re so glad that 2018 has shaped up to be a huge one for our alumni and tutors who continue to appear on the screen, big and small, locally and internationally!

Here’s a small selection of some of Screenwise’s tutor and alumni involvements in 2018.

Screenwise Alumni Chris Hemsworth starred in the Hollywood blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War, the war film 12 Strong and the neo-noir thriller Bad Times at the El Royale.

Screenwise Alumni Yvonne Strahovski starred in the 2nd season of the Award-Winning show The Handmaid’s Tale and was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for her portrayal of Serena Joy Waterford. She could also be seen in the science fiction film Predator and the horror flick He’s Out There.

Screenwise Alumni Ashleigh Cummings reprised the role of Cheryl West in the New Zealand comedy-drama TV series Westside.

Showreel Alumni Stef Dawson starred in the sci-fi horror thriller Guardians of the Tomb.

Screenwise Alumni Todd Lasance starred in a leading role in the Australian crime show Bite club alongside Screenwise tutor Robert Mammone. The series was directed by Australian director and Screenwise masterclass tutor Peter Andrikidis.

Showreel Course Alumni Matt Levett appeared in Australia’s longstanding and beloved TV series A Place to Call Home.

Diploma of Screen Acting Alumni Adam Bowes starred in the ABC comedy Fresh Blood: The Angus Project.

Screenwise Tutor Rachael Blake was cast as The Writer in Stan’s first original feature film The Second.

Screenwise Tutor Maya Stange scored a recurring role in A Place to Call Home. She also starred in Book Week and A Suburban Love Story.
