Australian actor and film icon Mark Lee returns to teach and instruct students in the art of screen acting for Screenteens Term 3 this coming August!

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for young adults to engage and learn from one of our countries finest actors! Mark Lee will share his experience and knowledge spanning over 30 years across Film, Television and Theatre.

Following his iconic leading role starring in Peter Weir’s Gallipoli, he has appeared in the films, Sahara, Love Stories, Chameleon, Emma’s War and Blackwater Trail. Television work includes Vietnam, Out There & Crownies, Packed to the Rafters and Paper Giants 2 – Magazine Wars. In 2008 he narrated and presented the documentary Not Forgotten. He is currently a regular guest on the series A Place to Call Home.

Now in it’s 7th year, Screenteens continues to lead the path for young actors between 12 – 16 years old who are looking for a successful move into the Film and Television Industry. This program is the ideal platform for all young adults interested in commencing or extending their experience in front of the camera. No audition is required! Classes run in conjunction with school terms each Saturday morning.

Students will learn how to break down a scene, build a character, master audition and screen tests through to script reading, improvisation, presenting and devising scenes – the perfect training ground for young aspiring actors.

This is a RARE opportunity to work with and learn from Mark Lee, so places are limited and are expected to fill quickly!
