Rellim Simpson

2 years ago I got accepted into Screenwise, despite what people thought, people said, people judged, I went with my heart and took up the opportunity. I have wanted to be an actor for a long time now and there was no way I was going to hold off on it any longer. It has been the best decision I have ever made. Since my first day at Screenwise I have learnt so much about the craft that I have fallen in love with, from some of best tutors in the business who are incredibly invested in all of their students, I have met some of the most amazing people along the way. I have grown stronger as a person and l am continually learning so much more about myself each and everyday.

The friends I have made in the classroom over the last 2 years are friends that I will have with me for life. As we all share that burning desire to get where we want to go, there hasn’t been a day gone by that we haven’t had each others backs or haven’t been there to pick one another up when we fall. We are there for each other every step of this amazing journey, and for that I am so proud and thankful to be able to call each and every person in my year some of my closest friends that i will cherish with me forever.

The whole team at Screenwise does an absolutely amazing job of not only pushing us to do our absolute best, but they are there for us when we fall on our face, they are there for us when times are tough and we are down but most importantly Screenwise’s awesome team is there for us every step of the way.

None of all this could be possible if it wasn’t for one of the most incredible, uplifting, kind hearted, amazing lady’s in the world. Denise Roberts I can not thank you enough for your guidance over the last 2 years. From the first day I could tell how invested and passionate you where about not only me but everyone of your students. Without you we wouldn’t have the knowledge on what we love so much, we wouldn’t be as strong and confident as we are today and most importantly we wouldn’t be the people we are today without you Denise. Thank you so much.
