Showreel Alumni Sam Webb lands role in Neighbours

Screenwise is thrilled to announce that Showreel Course Alumni Sam Webb has landed a professional role on the long standing Aussie drama series Neighbours.

Since graduating from the Showreel Course in 2015, Sam has become a familiar face within the television industry from appearing on the world-renowned reality TV show Australian Survivor in 2016.

This is what Sam had to say upon announcing the exciting news…

“Livin my dream, literally. I am so excited to announce and share with you all that I landed my first ever professional acting role on the long standing TV show Neighbours. I feel extremely honoured and lucky to be a part of the cast and to get the opportunity to work alongside a great group of actors, actresses and crew, some who have been the life blood of the show for decades.
You guys have made me feel very welcome and I thank you for that wholeheartedly. I’ll never forget this day and these first scripts, as this has been something I have wanted to achieve for a very long time. Thank you to everyone who has wished me luck, I couldn’t have done this without my family in my corner. Thanks to my manager and good friend Rob Woodburn (RWA) for being so patient with me and of course the wonderful Denise Roberts for training me at Screenwise. I am looking forward to learning, listening and working very hard.”

Sam joins an established list of Showreel Course Alumni with careers now flourishing in Australia and across the Globe including; STEF DAWSON  (The Hunger Games), GEORGE HOUVARDAS (Packed To The Rafters), TABRETT BETHEL (Legend Of The Seeker), ANDY WHITFIELD (Gabriel), ED KAVALEE  (Radio & TV Host), NATHANIEL BUZOLIC (The Vampire Diaries), MATT LEVETT (A Place to Call Home), CLAIRE SCOTT (Packed To The Rafters), INDIA ROSE MADDEROM (Rake), VALENTINO DEL TORO (Fools Good).
