Screenwise Spotlight: Drayton Morley

Drayton Morley is a well-accomplished actor who has worked in the Film, Television and Theatre industry for over 25 years. He is well known for his roles in Photocopier, Picture This and Bits and Pieces. Drayton has also appeared on a number of Australian Television programs including Home and Away, All Saints, Always Greener and Water Rats.  He is also a well-respected and highly acclaimed stage actor, appearing in over 20 theatre productions over the course of almost 30 years.

When did you decide acting was for you? When I auditioned for acting school the first time and almost got in. I realised then that not only was it the most fascinating thing I’d ever done, but also that others thought I had the potential to make it my career.

Who are your favourite actors? Daniel Day-Lewis, Meryl Streep, Peter Sellers, Geoffrey Rush

Your best advice for aspiring actors? Work as hard as you can to prepare for a role, then work even harder.
