Screenwise Diploma Students Head To The AACTA Awards

Diploma of Screen Acting 10065NAT students were invited to participate in this year’s AACTA Awards Ceremony!
Students had the privilege of meeting a long list of award-winning actors and directors throughout the evening, including Samuel Johnson, Isla Fischer, George Miller, Geoffrey Rush and Mel Gibson. They also had the rare opportunity to meet and network with a number of other industry professionals at the after party following the ceremony.
Industry award ceremonies play an important role in inspiring a young generation of actors who dream of sharing their experiences and achievements that have defined some of our countries greatest artists. We hope all those involved had a wonderful time and we have no doubt that it will be a memorable experience that will mark the beginning of their acting journies. Screenwise couldn’t be prouder!”

“Just wanted to say thanks on behalf of Josh and I for giving us the opportunity to Volunteer at the AACTA Awards.
We met so many people in the industry, walking them around and helping them get where they needed to be! I had the job of taking winners to the media room so I got to walk Samuel Johnson, Isla Fischer, George Miller, Geoffrey Rush , Mel Gibson and heaps more !!
After the awards we got to go to the after party where we continued to talk to people in the business including Melina Vidler, Tim Ross, Ben Mingay, Zoe Ventuora an many more.
The Highlight for Josh and I was having a half an hour chat with Todd Lasance and Lincoln Youne, they gave us so much advice and they where so good to talk to.
Cheers again we had an amazing time and it was a good inspiration to what could one day be us and has motivated me to work harder then ever!” – Rellim Simpson
