We’re excited to announce that leading Australian Film & Television actor Peter Mochrie is returning to Screenwise this April to lead our highly sought after Presenting to Camera course!

With the rising popularity of digital platforms such as YouTube and Instagram, presenting skills are more in demand than ever. Whether you want to boost your confidence or simply be more authentic in front of the camera, Peter will teach you the skills to make it as a presenter across a variety of platforms. Our classes are taught in a supportive learning environment with limited places available so that our tutors can make the most of your training.

In light of Peter’s return we look back at his career that has spanned over forty year:

Peter received his first big break appearing in The Restless Years as Ric Moran which soon caught the attention of TV producers and led to appearances in Sons and Daughters, Neighbours, Holiday Island and Rooted. His success only continued to grow in the aftermath with roles in long-standing Australian TV shows such as Home and Away, Blue Heelers, G.P. and Water Rats.

Peter also discovered his love for theatre, which led to performances in a variety of plays including Spinning into Butter and Jack of Hearts for Ensemble.

Peter Mochrie has also found success in New Zealand starring as Dr. Callum McKay in the popular Television series Shortland Street appearing in over 600 episodes. He has starred in the New Zealand film Predicament and Bollywood film Love Has No Language.

Most recently, Peter Mochrie played Geoff Hadley in the celebrated TV series Janet King and appeared in the short Love and Other Places.

Presenting to Camera commences 29th April 2019. We strongly recommend securing your place as soon as possible as there will only be two other opportunities this year to work exclusively with Peter Mochrie.
