How to Make Yourself Stand Out as an Actor

Mar 22, 2018 | News

Learning is a life-long endeavour. Even when you think, you know most of it, there’s still so much more to discover. Knowledge is endless and can easily overwhelm you when first approaching a new subject. Acting is no exception to this rule. As a result, we have compartmentalized our screen acting short course curriculum into three pillars: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. These units are built on one another to equip you with a thorough understanding of the art of acting and an extensive practical skillset to prepare you for the demanding Film & TV business. The right education will give you the edge over other actors in an audition, and make you stand out as an actor.

Students that have previously enrolled in our Intermediate acting courses or equivalent can progress into Screen Acting Advanced, commencing on 7 April 2018. Under the direction of critically acclaimed Australian Film & TV actor Robert Mammone (Underbelly, Water Rats, Matrix), you will explore scene work in depth and obtain the technical requirements for acting on screen. Over the course of six weeks, your performance will be refined and maintained, Robert will work on your confidence on camera and provide you with a demonstrated knowledge of the industry. Our classes are strictly boutique in size, ensuring quality of delivery. Therefore, we limit intakes to 14 students only. We want you to feel comfortable and enthusiastic whether you have studied at Screenwise before or are new to our facilities in Surry Hills.

Take advantage of our Early Bird Offer before Saturday, 24 March 2018.
