About the course

The Screenwise Screen Acting Advanced Course is a six-week intensive designed for actors who have completed the Screenwise Screen Acting Intermediate Course or have equivalent training and/or experience.

Students will explore monologue and scene work in depth, combined with the technical requirements for acting on screen to meet the demands of today’s film and television standards.

Screenwise classes are strictly boutique in size to ensure quality of delivery. Intake for the Screen Acting Advanced Course is limited to 14 students.


  • Ability to maintain performance whilst hitting marks and cheating eyelines
  • Ability to refine performance through the use of blocking, props and continuity
  • Confident application on camera of technical factors in performance through weekly scene work
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the industry and its current landscape
  • Capacity to receive feedback and follow direction consistently


  • Completed Screenwise Screen Acting Intermediate Course or an equivalent short course  


  • Relevant Film and TV Acting Experience (CV will be required on application for selection)

About Your Tutor - Robert Mammone

Accomplished actor Robert Mammone is best known for his role as Sid Walker in Home and Away. Robert’s first television role was Sons and Daughters as Tim Palmer. His body of work is rich and varied across film and television including a starring turn as Tony Mockbell in UnderbellyWater Rats, Dangerous, Satisfaction, Bordertown, G.P. Wildside, Neighbours, The Cooks, The Alice and Stingers. His first movie role was alongside Russell Crowe in The Crossing and more recently as Colonel Demergelis in the highly acclaimed 2014 film Water Diviner.
