There’s still time to apply for our upcoming Screen acting Advanced Short Course with Ben Mathews commencing Saturday June 25th. Limited places remaining.

Advance your ability to develop and create compelling performance choices as well as deepen your understanding of your unique personal qualities and abilities. Over the duration of 6 weeks, students will explore monologue and scene work, roles and responsibilities combined with the technical requirements for acting on screen.

In addition, students are given the rare opportunity to engage with multi-award winning director Ben Mathews in a boutique classroom setting.

Screen Acting Advanced course is designed for actors who has made a serious commitment to the development of their craft, and who have the desire to build a successful career as a working, professional actor in film and television.

Ben Mathews is a multi-award winning director, actor and AWGIE nominated writer. His short film, Emily, has won over 20 awards around the world, screened at the Cannes Film Festival and was the first Australian film nominated for the Student Academy Awards in Los Angeles. A graduate of the Atlantic Theater Company New York, and AFTRS. In 2012, Ben directed, co-wrote, and co-produced Deadbeat Dads, a drama pilot for MTV Australia, after winning the MTV/Optus ONE80PROJECT.He is also the director and co-creator of BedHead, a web series made for ABC iView, which has recently been awarded Outstanding Direction in a Comedy Series for LA WebFest.
