Both of these workshops are proudly presented by Screenwise Film & TV Acting School, Australia’s leading film and TV school for actors.

The Golden Box Workshop

The first master intensive workshop, The Golden Box, will run for two days – Saturday 23rd March to Sunday 24th March 2013 – and will detail the techniques used at The Acting Studio. This workshop is suitable for anyone interested in forging an acting career, including actors, directors, producers and acting tutors. The Golden Box is not a traditional acting seminar. Instead, it consists of a technique analysis lecture as well as exercises which will see students learning how to create back-stories for their characters by using their own emotions and experiences. Students will also view, analyse and discuss iconic scenes featuring the likes of Anthony Hopkins, Al Pacino, Meryl Streep, Judi Dench, James Dean and Marlon Brando.

The workshop will take place at Screenwise Studios and will commence at 10am and conclude at 4.30pm on both days (Saturday 23rd March to Sunday 24th March, 2013). The total cost of the workshop is $396.

Audition Technique Workshop

Presented over two days, Monday 25th March and Tuesday 26th March 2013, this workshop will see students participate in a range of exercises performed in front of the camera.

Audition Technique will be held at Screenwise Studios and will commence at 10am and conclude at 5pm on both days (Monday 25th March and Tuesday 26th March, 2013).
